LUSH Mask of Magnaminty Face and Body Mask Review
Overall rating: 3.5/5 MYNT leaves
The main ingredients in this mask are china clay, peppermint oil, ground aduki beans, honey and vanilla. I really like the beady, gritty texture - it makes it easy to wash the mask off and know that my face is absolutely clean. As stated in the name, the mask smells predominately of mint. However, it leans towards a sweet mint (like the gum). While I really enjoy a natural peppermint smell, I am not too fond of the sweetness that seems more manufactured than natural. Upon application, there is a cooling sensation leaving my skin refreshed and awake. For my oily skin, this mask did a great job at stripping excess oils. I would definitely recommend this for oily, acne-prone skin although this mask is made for all skin types. It left my skin smoother and reduced irritation on my sensitive skin.
My favorite LUSH mask is still Cosmetic Warrior, though I did like the Mask of Magnaminty more than Catastrophe Cosmetic. I wouldn't say that this mask is an absolute must-have, but a great nice-to-have product in your fridge when your skin needs a quick pick-me-up.
