Nexcare Acne Care Patch

Nexcare Acne Care Patch

Overall rating: 4.5/5 MYNT leaves

The Nexcare Acne Care Patch is the first of many Asian products I will be reviewing. I have gone through many many packages of these and I absolutely love them.

Do you have active acne? Do you have stubborn whiteheads? Are you prone to picking at your pimples? Do you squeeze the life out of your pimples to try and get all the pus out? If you answered yes to any of the above, invest in a pack of these. Asap.

These patches are little round beige-tinted stickers that you simply stick onto existing pimples either on a day in or overnight. You can wear them outside - at your own risk of looking silly! But I admit that I have done so when I have a particularly mean and stubborn pimple. I'll receive a couple of 'what is that?' comments but I can still move on with my day.

The patches are not medicated. They extract the pus, oil, and blood from the pimple, leaving the area flattened and clean. You may have heard of Nexcare bandaids - thus it is no surprise that these stickers adhere very well and do not leave any sort of residue behind. When you peel off the patch after hours or overnight, you will see spot(s) of white left on it. That is the gunk and oil that was absorbed from your skin.

Please note that these will not puncture or break your skin - Nexcare Acne Care patches work best on open acne. You should NEVER try and pop acne with your fingers. If necessary, I recommend using an extractor and just delicately poke the tip of the whitehead. Clean off any excess blood or pus but remember not to squeeze! Put a sticker on it afterwards and let the magic work itself.

I cannot rave enough about how well these stickers work for me. Because my skin is generally oily, I will sometimes put them on my larger pores and be amazed by the oil that is absorbed by the next morning. With open acne, I find that the next day they are significantly less inflamed.

They do sell them in different sizes - larger, smaller, and mixed. A huge part of me is crossing my fingers hoping they make a mask out of this. It would be an amazing once a week treatment. I took off half a star because a single pack is never enough. You will definitely go back for more and they end up being quite pricey.
